fan cable to the connector on the system board.

a battery
b base cover

2 Remove the:
a base cover
b battery
3 To remove the system fan:
a Disconnect the system fan cable from the connector on the system board [1].
b Remove the M2.0x3.0 screws that secure system fan on the system board [2]
c Lift the system fan away from the system board [2].
