Steps
1. Install the two rubber grommets to the system fan.
NOTE: Install the rubber grommets in the direction of the arrow printed on the system fan.
2. Place the system fan on the chassis and insert the rubber grommets through the holes on the chassis.
3. Slide the rubber grommets downward until they are secured to the chassis.
4. Insert the rubber grommets through the holes on the chassis.
5. Insert the rubber grommets through the holes on the system fan.
6. Push the system fan towards the chassis until it clicks in place.
7. Connect the system fan cable to the connector on the system board.
NOTE:
Ensure that the orientation of air flow is towards the inside of the chassis, and the PPID label is on top of the
fan.
Next steps
1. Install the disk-drive cage.
2. Install the 3.5-inch hard drive if applicable.
3. Install the 2.5-inch hard drive if applicable.
4. Install the front bezel.
