Steps
1. Route the battery cable through the routing guide on the battery.
2. Connect the battery cable to the connector on the battery.
3. Adhere the plastic tape to secure the battery cable to the battery.
4. Align the tabs on the battery at an angle with the tab holes on the computer chassis.
5. Place the battery onto its slot in the computer.
6. Replace the three (M2x5) screws to secure the battery to the computer.

Prerequisites
NOTE: For computers shipped with M.2 2280 or 2230 Solid-state drive installed in slot 3, slot 4, and/or slot 5.
NOTE: Slot 3, slot 4, and slot 5 supports PCIe Gen3, Optane, and SATA Solid-state drive.
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Remove the base cover.
