Removing the 5.25-inch optical drive
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a) side cover
3. To remove the 5.25-inch optical drive:
a) Disconnect the power cable and the SATA cable from the optical drive.
b) Push down on the release latch [1].
c) Slide the optical drive out of the system [2].
