Replacing the Fan
CAUTION: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your

1. Place the fan on the base ensuring the posts on the base align with the holes on the fan.
2. Replace the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws.
3. Connect the fan cable to the system board.
4. Replace the palm rest (see Replacing the Palm Rest Assembly).
5. Replace the keyboard (see Replacing the Keyboard
).
6. Replace the LED cover (see Replacing the LED Cover
).
7. Replace the display assembly (see Replacing the Edge-to-Edge Display
or Replacing the Display Assembly).
8. Replace the secondary hard drive (see Replacing the Secondary Hard Drive (HDD2)
).
9. Replace the base assembly cover (see Replacing the Base Assembly Cover
).
10. Follow the procedures in After Working on Your Computer
