Removing the Display Panel



1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.

2. Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly).

3. Remove the display bezel (see Removing the Display Bezel).

4. Remove the four screws securing the display panel to the cover.

5. Disconnect the cables from the connectors on each end of the inverter.

6. Lift the display panel out of the display cover.

7. Remove the four screws (two on each side of the display panel) securing the brackets to the display panel and remove the brackets.
CAUTION: Before you begin the following procedure, follow the safety instructions that shipped with your computer.
CAUTION: The following instructions are not applicable to Edge-to-Edge display panels, which should not be disassembled.
