Installing the power-button board
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the power-button board and provide a visual representation of the installation
procedure.
Steps
1. Align and place the power-button board along with the cable on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the screw (M2x4) that secures the power-button board with the cable to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Connect the power-button cable to the I/O board.
Next steps
1. Install the heat sink.
2. Install the GPU fan.
3. Install the base cover.
4. Exit Service Mode.
5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
