Prerequisites
1 Remove the stand.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 2 in “Removing the optical
drive”.
3 Remove the back cover.
4 Remove the system-board shield.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
2 Remove the screws that secure the fan to the display-assembly base.
