In case of the value of EEPROM is verified with the test mode.
Is initializing with high ref. disc playback performed normally ?
Is the playback time advanced ?

Is the disc rotating normally ? At the test mode and PU inner most position, is the lead-in
switch set on ? (Is the 63pin of IC1401(Mecha.) "L" level ?)
Check SW1936, soldering parts of Mecha.SW P.W.B., and
6pin of CN1932(Mecha.) peripherals.

When disc insertion, does the loading operation start ?
Is the voltage at 17, 18pin of CN1501 +5.0 ~ +6.0V ?
When reset power on, does pulse signal enter into 6pin of
CN1501 ?
Is the voltage at 62pin of IC1401 +3.2V ?
Does pulse signal 8.4672MHz add to 15pin of IC1401 ?
Does pulse signal output from 34pin of IC1401 ?
Is 5pin of CN1401 turned to "H" ?
Does either 19 or 20pin of IC1601 change ?
Does either 12 or 13pin of IC1601 change ?
Check M903.
When pushing MD out button, does the eject operation
start ?
Check SW1932.
Disc inserts again right after eject operation.
Check Power, System PWB, and CN1501.
Check System PWB and CN1501.
Check around Q1804 and IC1401.
Check IC1201.
Check IC1401.
Check the connection between CN1401 and CW1931,
and SW1932.
Check IC1401.
Check the connection between CN1401 and CW1931,
and IC1601.
Check the lead-in switch position with high ref. disc.
