Convenient functions
Auto power on
When the power is in standby, the power turns on when any of the
buttons below other than X on the main unit is operated, and the
respective operation is performed.
•5 (on the main unit) ∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙ The disc tray opens.
•1/3 (on the main unit) ∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙∙ Playback starts.
Auto standby
With the Auto standby ON, this unit will automatically enter the
standby mode after about 30 continuous minutes of stop mode with
no operation.
•The default setting for the Auto Standby mode is “ON”.
While the power is on, press and hold 2 on this unit for
5 seconds.
“MODE : ON” is displayed.
•When you press and hold 2 on this unit for 5 seconds again, this
unit exits the standby mode.
Last function memory
The playback media mode set directly before the power was set to
standby is stored in the memory.
When the power is turned back on, the mode is set to the playback
media mode set when the power was switched to standby.

NOTE
•DENON will take no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or
damage to data on USB memory devices when using the USB
memory device connected to the DCD-F109.
•USB memory devices will not work via a USB hub.
•DENON does not guarantee that all USB memory devices will
operate or be suppled power. When using a USB connection type
portable hard disk of the type for which power can be supplied by
connecting an AC adapter, we recommend using the AC adapter.
