Wall Mounted Unit
Section II Pre-installation
To ensure the most successful operation of the wall
mounted unit and provide the dentist with maximum
flexibility and convenience, do the following:
1. Use the DWM rotation/reach diagram below
as a guide and select the best mounting
location.
2. Select an out-of-the-way, yet easily accessible,
location (on wall or floor) for the USC.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure the USC is
within six feet of where the unit will be mounted to
the wall.
3. After determining the appropriate mounting
and USC locations, unpack the contents of
the USC carton and proceed with the
following wall mounted unit pre-installation
instructions:

- Two #6 x 3/8" screws
- Four #10 screws
- Two adaptors
- Four plastic anchors
- 1/4" tubing barb
- Plug cap
- Two 1/8" tubing clamps
- Five 1/4" tubing clamps
- Two coupler fittings
- Air fitting assembly
- Two stop valves
- Water actuator valve assembly
- Washer
NOTE: The USC umbilical bracket is shipped
from the factory attached to the arm umbilical
assembly and is not included in the USC package.
NOTE: A mounting panel is recommended
for all sheet rock applications. (An optional
18" x 18" laminated panel is available.)
