12 Appendix A: How can I play multichannel music with aria
The aria music server also supports multichannel audio. To play multichannel PCM and DSD music files
some settings have to be preselected by your installer/dealer inside the application.
You will also need a multichannel capable DAC and install a Windows ASIO driver in to your aria.
Nowadays, there are very few multichannel DACs in the market but tests have successfully been done
with exaSound e28 DAC. For further information please see: http://exasound.com/e28/Overview.aspx.
The multichannel DAC has to be connected to the aria’s USB audio output.
Excellent recordings in hi-res are available from several music labels such as 2L, Itrax, Channel Classics,
Blues Coast Records, etc. (full list at www.audiostream.com).
