Extra Alarm
Set up alarms for additional NVR abnormalities such as SMART HDD check, VIDEO LOSS, RECORDING
FAILURE and DISK FULL.
S.M.A.R.T.
Trigger an alarm signal when the HDD is about to be out of operation or is otherwise experiencing
drive health issues. Please refer to “4.1.4 HDD” to check the HDD status.
VIDEO LOSS
Trigger an alarm signal when a camera signal is suddenly disconnected.
DISK ERROR
Trigger an alarm signal when the system does not record images due to an error in HDD.
DISK FULL
Trigger an alarm signal when the HDD is occupied with a certain percentage of its capacity. If the
user sets HDD FULL as STOP RECORDING and the HDD is occupied with the certain percentage set
here, NVR stops recording and the alarm trigger.
Note
The extra alarm will appear in the event log only when it is set as “ON”.
ON/OFF: Set to ‘ON’ to enable the alarm type.
RELAY: Select related output. The NVR will output a signal through the selected relay output port
(RS-485).
Caution
Relay contacts can bear up to 24V 1A other devices. If it is connected to a power source
of more than 24V 1A, the system may have a problem with it.
DWELL
Set sensor operation time between 1 and 15 seconds. The camera alarm will remain active until the
assigned dwell time has passed.
NOTIFY
Enable and select for the sensor notification to create a buzzer sound and/or a pop-up warning
when triggered.
Note
When “Camera pop-up” is enabled, in a multi-screen mode, the system will switch to single-
channel mode and automatically when the alarm is triggered.
