5. FAULT FINDING
5.1. PROBLEMS WITH POWER SOURCE
FAULT REMEDY
1. The engine does not start
The main current is not connected.
Switch on the main switch and activate the
current feed by depressing the pedal switch
(OK1)orbyexecutingsomemovement
(OK2).
Emergency stop button is stuck. Lift the button and start the engine.
No power supply to the key switch. Fuse F2
blown.
Replacethefuse(10A).
The power supply voltage both comes to the
key switch and is fed further.
Check the operation of the engine solenoid
and the governing relays.
Telescope chain limit switch RK7 has
disconnected the start circuit.
Check the operation of the RK7 and readjust
accordingtotheinstructions(seepoint
“Regularservicing”).
The telescope chain limit switch RK15 has
actuated.
Check the operation of the RK15 and
readjustaccordingtotheinstructions(see
point“Regularservicing”).
Engine cranks but does not start. Check the stop solenoid circuit.
The engine starts and the display blacks out
for a moment.
Check the battery voltage
The following text appears on the display:
Moottori ylikuumentunut.
Let the engine cool down and check the
coolant level.
Fuel tank is empty Refuel and bleed the fuel supply system.
2. The engine starts but stops for a while
The following text appears on the display:
Low oil pressure.
Check the engine oil level.
