9.1 Transport and storage
 Always carry the appliance carefully, ide-
ally use both hands.
 Always store the appliance in its original
packaging in a cool, dry place, and keep it out
of reach of children.
9.2 Emptying the dirt bin
Proceed as follows to empty the dirt bin:
1. Make sure that the appliance is switched
off (On/Off switch in the "0" position,
Fig. 26).
2. Firmly push down the two pressure points
on the housing cover (Fig. 27/1.) and re-
move the housing cover (Fig. 27/2.).
3. Carefully pull the dirt bin from the appli-
ance by its handle (Fig. 28).
ATTENTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat
sources (e.g. heater, oven). Avoid exposing
it to direct sunlight. Heat can damage the
appliance.

NOTE:
It is best to empty the dirt bin after each
vacuuming session. Empty the dirt bin at
the latest
 If the cleaning indicator " " is illuminat-
ed red,
 Once a month,
 Prior to a longer period of non use,
 Prior to shipping.
