Replacement Procedures
Starting Motor - Replacement
Preparatory Steps:
z Disconnect the ground cable from the
battery terminal.
z Identify each electrical wire with a tag
indicating location.
12mm
Remove the battery cable from the solenoid.
17mm
Remove the starting motor.
Install the starting motor in the reverse order of
removal.
Torque Value : 78Nm [59 ft-lbs]
Alternator - Replacement
Preparatory Steps:
z Disconnect the ground cable from the
battery terminal.
z Remove the drive belt from the alternator
pulley.
