Gear Housing or Gasket –
Replacement
Preparatory Step:
z Remove the v-pulley.
z Remove the gear driven accessory drive if
the engine is so equipped.

Remove the gear housing and gasket.
Clean the gasket material from the cylinder block.

Caution : If a new housing or other than the original
housing is installed, the timing pin assembly
must be accurately located.
Install a new gasket and gear housing.
Torque Value: 25.5Nm [19 ft-lbs]
