Measure the pin bore.
Maximum Diameter
30.038 mm [1.1826 in]
Worn Limit: 30.1 mm [1.185 in]
Bearing clearance can also be determined with
Plastigage during engine assembly.
Piston to Connecting Rod –
Installation
Caution : Be sure “Front” marking on piston and the
numbers on the rod and cap are oriented as
illustrated.
Install the retaining ring into the pin groove on the
“Front” side of the piston.
