Power on/Stand-by switch does not function (cooling is on)
Cause Action Ref.
1. Incorrect connection of the Check if the cooling fan is working. If working then,
wiring (flat cable) to the Connect the flat cable of the switch with the black line
On/stand-by switch up (facing you) If the fan is not working, a power failure
is occurring. (see below)
Machine does not function (Power LED / cooling fan on)
Cause Action Ref.
1. Wiring or connectors Remove right cover and check the connectors of the 5K1
disconnected. control PCB. Correct if necessary.
2. The operation unit PCB is Check the LED’s (service device) and check the 4-4
defective, the flat cable of flat cable. 5K-3
the PCB is damaged or not
correctly connected.
3. Control PCB error Replace the control PCB if there is no machine function 5K-1
without apparent reason. PL-2
Machine does not function (Power LED is blinking)
Cause Action Ref.
1. Safety circuit is activated The overboil protection (clixon) has been actuated.
Switch the machine to stand-by, unplug the power cord,
press the safety switch and switch the machine back on.
The trough is not detected. Check presence of trough 5D
and if necessary the reed sensor.
More than 0,5 litre 16.9 fl oz water has been supplied 5A-6 / PL-3
while the machine was idle. Check if water is dripping
from the trough. Replace the worn/defective
valve
Machine does not function (Power LED off / no cooling fan operation)
Cause Action Ref.
1. Power failure Check wall outlet for power, power cord, power supply
PCB and the fuse on the PCB.
