Also, inspect the throttle adjustment and travel, and make sure the blade engagement lever is disengaged. Finally, check and clean the spark plug; replace if dirty or cracked. If oily, remove it, cover the hole with a rag, and pull the recoil cord to clear oil from the cylinder before reinserting the plug.
