If the engine of your DR Lawn Mower lacks power or isn't running smoothly, ensure the Throttle Lever is in the Run position and properly adjusted. Check and clean or replace the Air Filter following the Engine Owner’s Manual instructions. Replace dirty or cracked Spark Plugs. If a Spark Plug is oily, remove it, cover the Plug Hole, crank the Engine to blow out oil, wipe the Plug, and reinsert it. • B

Why is my DR Lawn Mower difficult to shift?
    • W
      William PittsSep 8, 2025
If your DR Lawn Mower is difficult to shift, added resistance from the driveline may occur when shifting on a slope or against an obstacle; lifting one tire can relieve this load. If there is resistance between all gears, the shift cables may be overly tight; slightly loosen one cable to improve shifting feel.
