Prepare Dräger tube
● Strictly follow the respective Instructions for User for
Dräger tubes.
● Break off both tips of the
Dräger tube. Use the Dräger
tube opener for this purpose,
and proceed as follows on
both sides:
5 Insert the Dräger tube as far
as it will go into the hole and
turn it once or twice. The
glass is scored.
6 Tip the Dräger tube to one
side. The tip breaks off and
falls in the break off unit.

The following applies for all Dräger tubes and impactors:
● Use Dräger tubes and impactors with the receptacle in the Dräger
tube holder.
● Open the valve for the compressed gas supply.
● Complete the measurement in accordance with the specifications
in the Instructions for Use for Dräger tubes and impactors.
● Close the valve for the compressed gas supply, immediately
remove the Dräger tube from the holder, and use the Instructions
for Use for the Dräger tubes to analyse the results.
● First read the Dräger tube "hydro steam 20/a-P".
● If the measurement shows that the permitted limits have been
exceeded, it may be necessary to repeat the measurement.
● If deviations from the limit values occur again, introduce suitable
measures in the high-pressure system or low-pressure system to
achieve the permitted limit values.
NOTICE
– The impactor and the tubes must be used in the tube containers
indicated appropriately, in order for the measurement to be
correct.
– When using tubes, ensure the direction of flow is correct.
– Only use Dräger tubes, see “Order List” on page 37.
– Do not breathe in the gases that occur during the measurement.
