Preparation
Connecting Gas Supply
Operating Instructions Oxylog 2000, SW 3.n

Supply from an oxygen cylinder
Always use a full cylinder (tank pressure 2400 psi).
Attach pressure regulator for delivery pressure of 40
to 88 psi ( = 2.7 to 6.0 bar, nominal pressure 50 psi)
to oxygen cylinder.
Connect Oxylog 2000 to pressure regulator to
medical gas supply hose.
Turn cylinder valve slowly and open fully.
Determining gas supply in O2 cylinder
Example:
Cylinder pressure measured on the pressure gauge of
the pressure regulator: 2400 psi
Supply of pressurized O2 (E-cylinder): 622 L
WARNING !
Do not install flow control valves or flow
meters into the high pressure gas supply.
Equipment malfunction might result.
WARNING !
Always use medical grade oxygen or air that is
dry and free from dust and oil. Contaminated
gas may cause ventilator malfunction.
WARNING !
Always use a pressure regulator with a vent
valve at the outlet. This shall limit delivery
pressure to approximately 70 psi in case of a
defect!
