Connecting Gas Supply
Operating Instructions Oxylog 2000, SW 3.n

Supply from an oxygen cylinder
Always use a full cylinder (tank pressure 2400 psi).
● Attach pressure regulator for delivery pressure of 40
to 88 psi ( = 2.7 to 6.0 bar, nominal pressure 50 psi)
to oxygen cylinder.
● Connect Oxylog 2000 to pressure regulator to
medical gas supply hose.
● Turn cylinder valve slowly and open fully.
Determining gas supply in O2 cylinder
Example:
Cylinder pressure measured on the pressure gauge of
the pressure regulator: 2400 psi
Supply of pressurized O2 (E-cylinder): 622 L
WARNING !
Do not install flow control valves or flow
meters into the high pressure gas supply.
Equipment malfunction might result.
WARNING !
Always use medical grade oxygen or air that is
dry and free from dust and oil. Contaminated
gas may cause ventilator malfunction.
WARNING !
Always use a pressure regulator with a vent
valve at the outlet. This shall limit delivery
pressure to approximately 70 psi in case of a
defect!
