Dräger Oxylog 2000 - Care and Maintenance; Disassembly and Cleaning Procedures

Care
- Always clean and disinfect expiration valve and
(reusable) patient circuit after each use.
- Clean ventilator and high pressure hoses according to
established hospital / EMC procedures and/or visual
check of cleanliness.
Disassembly
● Remove Oxylog 2000 from ventilator mount bracket
(where applicable).
1 Remove patient circuit from nozzle.
2 Remove connector for pressure sensing hoses (flow
measurement) from ventilator.
3 Unscrew DISS high pressure oxygen hose from
Oxylog 2000.
CAUTION !
When removing patient circuits, always handle at
end fittings! Otherwise, support helix may be torn
at end fitting or hose and fitting could come
apart.
WARNING !
Always follow accepted hospital / EMC proce-
dures for handling equipment contaminated
with body fluids.
