Positioning the Oxylog 2000
For stationary use
Place on a level surface where it cannot slide or fall,
or
hang from the headboard of a bed,
or
hang from a wall rail.
For mobile use in ambulances
Attach Oxylog 2000 to ventilator mount bracket
(accessory 84 12 069).
1 Hang ventilator handle on bar of mounting bracket.
2 Swing rear of ventilator up to engage locking
mechanism.
To remove ventilator:
3 Push lever from below to disengage bracket.
Connecting Gas Supply
WARNING !
Always use extreme caution when using oxygen!
Oxygen intensely supports any burning!
No smoking, no open fire in areas where oxygen
is in use!
Always provide adequate ventilation in order to
maintain ambient O2 concentrations < 24 %.
Use only officially approved gas cylinders that
comply with federal and local regulations.
Always secure gas cylinders against tipping, do
not expose to extreme heat.
Do not use oil or grease on O2 equipment such
as tank valves or pressure regulators. Do not
touch with oily hands. Risk of fire!
Open and close valves slowly, with smooth turns.
Do not use any tools.
