3. On the USB PARAMETERS, use the Up and Down arrows to highlight and edit the desired
communications mode.
6.6.2.5 Ethernet
Located on the rear panel an external Ethernet connection has the following configuration:
A firewall protects the Ethernet connection. The firewall is always turned on. For a list of open
ports, refer to
Table 5-1 on page 31.
The Ethernet connection provides the following functionality:
PACE Ethernet supports both VXI-II and Sockets automatically.
Socket port address 5025.
Internet protocol IP4.
To configure the Ethernet connection:
1. Navigate to the supervisor communications configuration. Refer to Section 6.6.2.1,
“Navigating to Communications Menu,” on page 38.
