No beer can be drawn.
The CO
2
cartridge Is empty.
Replace the CO
2
cartridge (see the “Pre-
paring the Device” chapter – “Inserting/
Replacing the CO
2
Cartridge”).
The CO
2
cartridge has not been pierced
correctly.
Take out the cartridge and insert it
again. If it still cannot be pierced, the
tapping tip needs to be replaced (see
the “Maintenance” chapter – “Replac-
ing the Sealing Ring of the CO
2
Line and
Tapping Tip”).
The beer keg is not connected correctly.
Check the connections and correct
them if necessary (see the “Preparing
the Device” chapter – “Tapping Into and
Connecting the Beer Keg”).
The lines are not tight.
Check the sealing ring(19) in the tap-
ping sword and the mount of the CO
2
cartridge(21). Correct the fit or replace
the sealing ring (see the “Maintenance”
chapter).
CO is escaping.
The tapping sword(15) is not resting tight
against the plug of the beer keg.
Replace the plug with the universal
adapter that is also supplied.
The CO
2
cartridge sleeve(18) has not been
screwed on fully.
Twist the CO
2
cartridge sleeve as far as
it will go into the mount.
The valve(13) of the CO
2
line and the con-
necting piece of the valve unit(16) have not
been plugged together correctly.
Correct the fit. The plug-in connection
must be heard to engage in place!
The CO
2
line has a leak.
Check the sealing ring in the mount of
the CO
2
cartridge(21). Correct the fit or
replace the sealing ring (see the “Main-
tenance” chapter).
The beer is cloudy.
The beer is too cold.
Allow the beer keg to rest in the device
for a little while, the temperature will be
regulated by the cooling container(3).
The beer hose is dirty.
Rinse through the beer hose (see the
After Use” chapter – “Rinsing Through
the Beer Hose”).
The beer keg has been chilled too quickly.
Only use correctly cooled beer kegs.
Too little froth produced when drawing
beer.

The beer is too cold.
Allow the beer keg to rest in the device
for a little while, the temperature will
be regulated by the cooling container
(3).
The pressure is too low.
Set the pressure slightly higher using
the pressure regulator.
There are grease or detergent residues in the
glass.
Clean the glass and rinse it with cold,
clear water.
Too much froth produced when draw-
ing beer.
The beer keg has been tapped into too early.
Allow the beer keg to rest for around
two hours before tapping into it, and
for at least one hour after tapping into
and connecting it.
The beer is too warm.
Allow the beer to cool down sufficient-
ly.
The pressure is too high.
Set the pressure slightly lower using the
pressure regulator.
The glass is too warm.
Rinse the glass with cold, clear water.
