DRAWING BEER
Please Note!
■ Never switch off the device if a beer keg
containing beer is still inside it! The fresh-
ness and preservation of the beer is only
guaranteed if the device is switched on,
i.e. the cooling system is switched on!
■ Leave a beer keg which has been
pierced in the device for no more than
a week.
■ If a disinfecting cleaner has been used for
cleaning, allow a little beer to run into
a glass and pour this away before you
enjoy your first beer. There could be some
residues from the cleaner in the line.
■ Do not place any filled glasses down on
the lid of the device.
■ Clean the dispensing unit and the beer
hose after each use to prevent germ
formation.
After the device is switched on, the device
starts to cool the beer down to the target
temperature. The temperature of the device
which was set most recently is always
activated.
Pressing the–button (7) or +button (9)
will show the target temperature on the
display(8). After a few seconds, the display
reverts back to the actual temperature in the
cooling container(3).
1. Set the beer temperature: Keep pressing
the – or + button until the temperature
you want is shown on the display. The
temperature range that can be chosen is
between 3°C and 12°C.
Wait until the beer has reached the
target temperature which is set.
2. Hold the glass tilted at an angle below
the tap (10) without touching it with the
glass.
3. Pull the tap handle(11) towards you
(approx. 45° angle) (PictureJ) and hold
it in this position. Allow the beer to run
down the inside of the glass.
4. Slowly turn the glass to an upright posi-
tion during the drawing process.
5. Close the tap as soon as the froth reach-
es the rim of the glass.
6. Place the glass on the drainage grille (6)
and wait until the froth has settled.
7. Repeat the drawing process until a
pleasant ratio between beer and froth
has been achieved. The ideal frothy head
should be around the width of two fin-
gers high and protrude slightly beyond
the edge of the glass.

If there is no longer any pres-
sure when drawing beer, the CO
2
cartridge needs to be replaced (see
the “Preparing the Device” chap-
ter – “Inserting / Replacing the CO
2
Cartridge”).
