Inserting / Replacing the CO
2
Cartridge
Please Note!
The CO
2
cartridge must be completely
empty before it is removed. Otherwise
there is the risk of bursting and cold
burns.
The CO
2
cartridge may be very cold after
use. After emptying the CO
2
cartridge,
wait for around 10 minutes before
replacing it.
The CO
2
cartridges should be at room
temperature for use.
Do not use any damaged or iced-up CO
2
cartridges with the device.
Do not transport the device with an
inserted and pierced CO
2
cartridge.
16 g CO
2
cartridges are required to draw
beer. One cartridge is generally sucient
for each beer keg. More CO
2
cartridges can
be ordered via our website: www.maxx-
world.de
L
No CO
2
cartridge is required for
fresh kegs because they are already
provided with the right amount of
CO
2
.
1. If a CO
2
cartridge has already been
inserted, make sure that it has been
completely emptied (see the “After Use”
chapter – “Emptying the Beer Keg and
CO
2
Cartridge”).
2. Flip up the CO
2
cartridge sleeve(18) and
unscrew it from the dispensing unit(Pic-
tureB) (PictureM).
3. Insert a new CO
2
cartridge into the
cartridge sleeve. Remove the used one
beforehand if necessary.
4. Screw the CO
2
cartridge sleeve with the
CO
2
cartridge inserted onto the dis-
pensing unit (PictureN) until you hear
a click indicating that the CO
2
cartridge
has been pierced. PLEASE NOTE: Make
sure that the CO
2
cartridge sleeve has
been fully tightened so that no CO
2
can
escape!
5. Flip down the CO
2
cartridge sleeve and
close the lid.
6. Connect the device to a plug socket and
switch it on. To do this, flip the On / Off
switch (4) to position I. The cooling is
activated.
7. Now allow the beer keg to rest for at
least an hour so that the CO
2
can spread
around evenly and excessive frothing is
avoided when you draw the beer.
Connecting a Fresh Keg
As fresh kegs already contain the correct
amount of CO
2
, no CO
2
cartridge is required.
1. Press the fresh keg adapter (25) onto
the valve in the fresh keg (Picture U1,
back fold-out page). Ensure that it fits
securely.
Detach the fresh keg adapter from the
keg: Press together the fresh keg adapt-
er on the sides (PictureU2) and remove
it from the keg.
2. If it has not already been fitted, plug the
longer beer hose as far as it will go onto
the fresh keg adapter(PictureP).
3. Open the lid (2) of the device by press-
ing the release button (1).
4. Place the fresh keg into the cooling
container (3) (Picture Q).

pull the cover(26, PictureI) out of the
tap housing.
6. Place the beer hose through the round
opening on the bottom of the cover.
