STORAGE
1. Remove the CO
2
cartridge and the beer
keg from the device (see the “After Use”
chapter).
2. Clean the device and all accessories
before storing them away (see the
“Cleaning” chapter). All parts must be
completely dry after cleaning before the
device is assembled and stored away.
3. Place all accessories in the cooling con-
tainer(3) to save storage space.
4. Store the device in a dry, cool place that
is not accessible to children and animals.
MAINTENANCE
Please Note!
Proceed in the manner described in this
chapter when replacing any expendable
parts. Do not remove any other parts of
the device!
The sealing rings of the tapping sword and
the mount of the CO
2
cartridge(19, 21) and
the tapping tip(20) are regarded as expend-
able parts which must regularly be checked
and replaced if necessary.

Replacing the Sealing Ring of the
CO
2
Line and Tapping Tip
If when drawing beer excessive losses of
CO
2
are detected, the sealing ring of the
mount of the CO
2
cartridge(21) must be
replaced.
If a CO
2
cartridge (23) cannot be pierced,
the tapping tip(20) has become blunt and
needs to be replaced.
1. If there is still a CO
2
cartridge in the
device, make sure that it has been
completely emptied (see the “After Use”
chapter – “Emptying the Beer Keg and
CO
2
Cartridge”).
2. Fold out and unscrew the CO
2
cartridge
sleeve (18).
3. Remove the sealing ring and if necessary
the tapping tip from the mount of the
CO
2
cartridge using a narrow flat screw-
driver or similar tool.
4. Place a new tapping tip on the mount if
necessary.
5. Place a new sealing ring on the mount
(and tapping tip if necessary).
6. Press it on firmly with an empty(!) CO
2
cartridge (Picture V).
Replacing the Sealing Ring of the
Tapping Sword
If beer leaks from the connection between
the tapping sword(15) and the valve
unit(16), the sealing ring (19) in the tapping
sword needs to be replaced.
1. Unscrew the tapping sword from the
dispensing unit(Picture B).
2. Remove the sealing ring of the tapping
sword from the thread in the tapping
sword using a narrow flat screwdriver or
similar tool.
3. Insert a new sealing ring.
4. Insert the valve unit (16) into the clips
(14) and screw on the tapping sword.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check
whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved
with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
Try another plug socket.
