Disarming the System
Disarming from an LED Keypad:
Enter the premises through a d esi gnated Exit/Entry door; entering by any other door will sound an
immedi ate alarm. As soon as the Exit/Entry door is op ened, the keypad will be e p to indi c ate that the
system should be disarmed. G o to the keyp a d and enter your acc ess cod e. If an error is made
entering the code, press the [#] key and enter your code again. As soon as the corre ct cod e is
entere d, the Armed li ght will go out and the keypad will stop bee ping.
The corre ct ac c ess code must b e entere d before the entry delay period expires. If a valid a cc ess
code is not entere d during this time, the system will go into al arm. The entry delay time may b e
changed by your installer.
If an al arm oc curre d while the system was armed, the Memory li ght and the zone light corresponding
to the zone which caused the alarm will fl ash for 30 seconds. After the 30 se cond period, the Memory
light and zone light will stop fl ashing and the panel will return to the Ready state. Pressing the [#] key
during the 30 se cond period will cancel the alarm memory display. To vi ew other al arms, press [
✱][3].
If a trouble was dete cted when the p anel is disarmed, the Troubl e light will turn O N (Se e “ Vi ewing
Trouble Conditions” on page 12 to determine the source of the troubl e.) Pl e ase note that troubl es will
not displ ay while the system is in the Alarm Memory Displ ay mode.

Use the arrow (< >) keys to vi ew whi ch zones cause d the al arm. If a zone is still in
alarm, the displ ay will show the following message to indic ate that a zone is open...
Upon disarming and if a troubl e is present, this message will b e displ aye d. Use the
arrow (< >) keys to view whi ch troubles are affe cting the system (see “ Vi ewing
Trouble C onditions” on p a g e 12).
NOTE: If you return and find that an alarm has occurred while you were away, it is possible that
an intruder may still be on the premises. Go to a neighbour's house, and call the local police to
investigate.
The alarm memory is cleared each time the panel is armed so that any alarms showing are
alarms that occurred only during the last armed period.
