Rear brake pedal (fig. 21)
Push down on the pedal (1) with your foot to operate the
rear brake.
The brake system is hydraulic and very little force is
required to operate it.
Gearchange pedal (fig. 22)
The gear change pedal is at rest when in centre position N,
and automatically returns to the centre position. When in this
position, light N (8, fig. 6) on instrument panel comes on.
The pedal can be moved:
down = push down on the pedal to engage 1
st
gear and to
shift down. The N light on the instrument panel goes out.
up = lift the pedal to engage 2
nd
gear, then 3
rd
, 4
th
, 5
th
and
6
th
gear.
Each time you move the pedal, you engage the next gear.
