The following instructions apply to the CC 102/
102C, CC 122/122C and also the CC 142C
rear wheel motors.
Press the reserve/parking brake knob and
stop the engine.
Chock the drum so the roller does not
begin to move on disengaging the brakes.
The disc brake in each drive motor must be
disengaged mechanically, as described below,
before the roller can be towed.
The following instructions apply for older
models of the CC 102/102C, CC 122/122C
and also the CC 142C wheel motors.
1. Screw out the center plug (1), using a 24 mm socket
wrench.
2. Screw the existing hexagonal socket plug (2) to the
bottom with an 8 mm hexagonal socket key, which
disengages the brakes.
3. After towing, screw out the hexagonal socket plug
(2) to its initial position, which is correct when the
top of the plug is flush with the surrounding surface.
Then refit the center plug (1).
4. The two rear drive motors for the rubber wheels
(Combo) must also be disengaged mechanically in
the same way as described above.
