Warning
It is essential to respect the 2mm per 1000V rule, i.e. 10mm for 5000V for the air gap (dm)
between the HV generation and re-reading probes (1 and 2). This is essential for the proper
operation of the system. If this rule is not followed, arcing between the HV generation and re-
reading probes may interfere with the detection or even trigger the instrument's circuit breaker
system.
