Watching TV
SETUP MENU
Press MENU, and then select Setup to use the Setup Menu to:
• Set and reset password-protected locks, either based on programming
ratings or on a channel-by-channel basis.
• Run the Setup Wizard again, or change any of the system settings you
selected when the wizard ran previously. You can even restore the
system to the factory defaults from before the wizard was run.
• Change the primary/alternate language and audio output settings.
DVR MENU
Press DVR or press MENU and select DVR to access many digital video
recording features.
My Recordings
Displays all of the programs you have recorded on the DTVPal
DVR. See Recording My Programs on page 14 for more details.
Select Options to change the way the list of recordings is sorted.
REMOTE CONTROL SHORTCUT: Press DVR once to open the
DVR Main Menu. Press DVR twice to open the My Recordings list.
Daily Schedule
Displays all the timers you have set, for today or the future. Select Timers to
go Create a new event timer, or to Edit or Delete an existing timer. See
Setting Up Timers on page 14 for more details.
CONTROLLING LIVE TV
You can use the DVR buttons on your remote control to control live TV. While
watching live TV:
• Press PAUSE to pause a live program for up to one hour.
Press PLAY to continue watching the program or press VIEW
LIVE TV to catch up to real time.
• Press SKIP BACK to jump back in the program by 10 seconds.
