2.2.5 Submenu #2.5 Quick Setup>Can customer Prime?
The Customer Prime function allows the user to prime a pump after replacing an empty product container. If the
prime command is selected when the system is in the middle of a dose, the prime will be delayed until the current
dose is complete.
If this option is enabled, it is extremely important the customer is trained on proper priming procedures.
If the Customer Prime option is enabled, the main idle screen will display soft key (SK#4) with icon . The
controller will guide the user through the process.
Press SK#3 <Save> to save selection.
Press <Back> to cancel selection and return to previous screen.
Prime will automatically begin, but not until the system is finished with the current dose.

Select the type of Out-of-Product sensor (if installed) that is used on the product pickup probes. This will alert the
customer when the liquid product container is empty. If Out-of-Product sensors are not used, this menu selection will
have no effect on system operation.

Standard – Uses a float switch to sense the level of product in the container. When the product drops below pre-set
level, the float switch closes and an audible alarm is activated to warn the user of low product. An empty alarm delay
(in seconds) is offered to allow advanced warning of low product. Standard pick up probes have a float switch
designed to sense the level of product in the container.
