2.1
General Safety
DANGER!
If you assume that safe operation is no longer possible the pump must be put
out of service immediately and be secured against unauthorized use.
This is the case if:
–
is visibly damaged
– appears no longer functional
– prolonged storage under unfavorable circumstances has occurred
(carry out function check).
The following notes should be observed:
–
Before any work on the electrical section, disconnect power and secure
against being switched on again .
– The safety provisions for handling chemicals must always be observed and,
if applicable, suitable protective clothing must be worn
– Notes in the product data sheet of the used dosing medium has allways to
be observed.
– The installation may only used with the specified supply and control voltage
in the technical data.
2.2 Intended Use
WARNING!
The system serves exclusively the processing of validated chemicals.
It has been developed, constructed and manufactured for the industrial and
commercial use. The private use is principally not allowed!
Any use beyond the intended use and/or other types of use is considered
misuse.
CAUTION!
Usage as per specification also comprises observance of operating,
maintenance and repair processes and all included documentation of the
system components as stipulated by the manufacturer
.
WARNING!
Danger due to misuse!
Misuse can result in dangerous situations:
–
Never use different dosing media than the specified product.
– Never modify the dosing set values of the product over the tolerable limit.
– Never use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
