Off-centre centre of gravity
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to falling or tilting packages!

If fasten incorrectly, the package may tip and fall.
Severe injuries can be caused by falling or tilting packages.
– Observe markings and info on the packages about the centre of gravity.
– Fasten the crane hook when transporting with the crane so that it is
above the package's centre of gravity.
– Lift package carefully and see whether it tilts.
If necessary, change the end stop.
Transport of pallets with a forklift truck
Transport units mounted on pallets can be transported under the following
conditions with a forklift truck:
n The forklift truck must be designed to support the weight of the transport units.
The owner/operator must have the equipment checked regularly by an expert.
n The driver (> 18 years) must be trained to drive the forklift truck and named in writing.
n The transport unit must be securely fastened to the pallet.
n The truck driver must have permission to drive industrial trucks with a driver's seat or
driver's platform in line with local regulations.

CAUTION!
The load must be secured when transporting with a forklift truck!
The transport unit must be securely connected to the fork lift truck with a
transport belt to avoid any sideways slippage
(see Fig. 2, Pos. b).
CAUTION!
Risk of tipping
When transported in a carton or wooden box, the support surface on the
means of transport must be as large as possible (i.e. the forks of the forklift
truck must be as far apart as possible) so that the dosing station cannot tip
over
.
