6. SANITIZATION OF REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTER
• Pay special aenon to sanizing the faucet spout. Use the sanizing spray (or, failing that,
hydrogen peroxide, dosing it in such a way that it penetrates the faucet spout) and single-use
blong paper. Spray the spray on the faucet nozzle, rub the spout and faucet nozzle with the
disposable paper and do not touch it directly with your hands.
• Given that sanizaon and rinsing do not ensure the complete removal of carbon dust from
new lters or sanizaon residues, rinse the osmosis equipment with plenty of water, aer each
sanizaon, circulang mains water of adequate quality for 5 minutes or more. Discard the rst 5
liters of water before consuming it.
• Remove sanizing installaon when disinfecon is nished
• At the end, take a drying kitchen paper, dry all the parts that may have goen wet and especially
the leak detecon probe.
