6. Operation
6.1 Using for the rst time
Install the equipment on a solid and level
surface.
Remove the ventilation screw (6).
Unscrew the coarse filter screw (4) using the
supplied wrench (10) and remove the coarse
filter (12) together with the non-return valve
(13) as shown in Figure 3. Now you can fill the
pump housing with water via the coarse filter
screw (4). Filling the intake line accelerates
the intake process.
Assemble in reverse order.
Open the discharge line.
Connect the mains cable.
Switch on the equipment with the power
switch (9) - water can be suctioned in for up
to 5 minutes (maximum suction height).
The equipment will shut down when the cut-
out pressure of 3 bar is reached.
After a loss of pressure due to water con-
sumption the equipment will cut in again auto-
matically (cut-in pressure approx. 1.5 bar).
After finishing the work, switch off the equip-
ment with the power switch (9).
6.2 LED indicator and ow switch
Yellow LED is lit (Fig. 4 / Item B) - priming
operation:
To start the pump, press the power switch (9) and
the pump will start running straight away. When
the pump is started up, it starts up to 5 priming
attempts in a cycle of 60 seconds ON and 4 se-
conds OFF.
Green LED is lit (Fig. 4 / Item A) - normal
mode:
The pump is in normal mode and the ow switch
detects a water ow. This means that water is
being pumped by the pump.
Yellow LED is lit (Fig. 4 / Item B) - normal
mode:
The pump is in normal mode and the ow switch
does not detect any water ow.
Red LED is lit (Fig. 4 / Item C) - fault:
If the pump does not pump any water during the
priming attempt after the fth priming attempt, the
pump will switch o and the red LED will come on.
Disconnect the pump from the mains power sup-
ply and re ll it and/or examine the intake line for
leaks. If, in normal mode, no water is pumped for
more than 5 minutes or no water ow is detected,
e.g. if the spray nozzle is closed, the pump will
automatically switch to the dry-running protection
function and will switch o . The pump can be re-
started again by pressing the power switch.
6.3 Intake pressure gauge
If the pump has been started up correctly, it will
pump water and the indicator on the intake pres-
sure gauge in the coarse lter screw (4) will rise
to the applicable suction height. During operation
the current suction height can be read o the in-
take pressure gauge (4). (Figure 5).
If the pump fails to pump any water when a pri-
ming attempt is made and the value on the intake
pressure gauge stagnates or stays at 0 m, this
means that there is a problem on the intake side.
Check all connections and the suction hose for
possible leaks. Filling the pump with water can
help the priming attempt. As a basic principle, we
recommend the use of a suction set with suction
hose, intake cage and non-return valve.
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
The equipment is almost completely maintenance
free. In order to ensure a long service life, howe-
ver, we recommend that you regularly check and
care for the product.
Danger!
The equipment must be disconnected from the
power supply (pull the power plug) prior to perfor-
ming any maintenance.
