  If the EKF Measuring Instruments shows 'Er2', it means that the blood droplet might have been too small or ran, the contact time between the sensor and blood droplet was too short, sample absorption was interrupted, or the sensor was pressed against the skin. You should repeat the test using a new sensor. If needed, gently massage the puncture site to promote circulation.
