3.2 WHAT THE BUTTONS DO
Press the LIGHT button to switch the light on and off. The light illuminates the surface being measured and
switches off automatically after approximately 40 seconds.
The display backlight illuminates after pressing any of the buttons on the keypad and switches off after
approximately 16 seconds. This function can be disabled - see “Backlight on” on page 20.
When the gauge is not being used, it will switch off automatically after approximately 120 seconds of
inactivity.
