TheDLCUonI/Oboardtype10containsanarmingcircuitthatischargedwhenthedoorlockcoil
istobeactivated.Forsafetyreasons,thisarmingcircuitmustbedischargedwhenthedoorlock
coilisnottobeactivated.Ifthearmingcircuitforoperatingthedoorlockischargedwhenitisnot
supposedtobe,anerrormessagewillbesenttotheCPU.
CPUreadstheerrormessagewhenthedoorislockedandunlockedandgeneratesanerror.The
errorisignoredbetweenthesetwooccasions.
Possiblecauses:
•Theerrorcanbeecausedbyoverloadsand/ordefectivecomponentsintheDLCUonI/O
boardtype10.

TheDLCUonI/Oboardtype10countsthetachopulsesfromthemotorinordertoguaranteethat
thedrumisstandingstillbeforethedoorisopened.T oensurethatthesignalfromthetacho
generatorisworkingcorrectly,DLCUcomparesthetachosignalwithadigitalbitvaluefromthe
CPU,whichisduetotheCPUhavingactivatedthemotor(SeeDLCUstatusindication).
Errorwillresetautomaticallyafter5minutesanddoorwillthenunlock.Theerrormessageis
lteredinsuchawaythat:-thedigitalbitvalueshouldhavebeenactiveformorethan2seconds
-whenthedigitalbitvaluegoeslow,tachosignalmustbepresent-testisonlyperformedwhen
doorisabouttounlock.
Possiblecauses:
•Openorshortedcircuittothetachosensor.
•Damagedtachosensorormagnet.
•Secondaryfaultduetoaerrorinthemotorsystem.
Recommendedactions:
1.Checkthatmotorisactuallyrunning.
2.Checkthereisvoltagefromtachometeroutputwhenmotorisrunning.
3.CheckthatrotationisdetectedinDLCUstatusfortheI/Otype10board.
