Levelthemachinebyusingstainlessorgalvanizedsteelwashersbetweenthemachineandthe
oor.Thewashersmustbeofasizetocoverthesupportsurface.Fitthewashersandself-locking
nutssuppliedwiththemachineandtightenwell.T otightenthenutsitisrecommendedtousea
rachetwrench,especiallyintherightrearcorner.
Itisoftheupmostimportancethatthemachineisplacedinlevel,fromsidetosideaswellasfronttorear.If
themachineisnotproperlylevelled,itmayresultinout-of-balancewithoutarealoutofbalanceinthedrum.

Afterthemachinehasbeeninuseforawhile,checkandre-tightenthenutsifnecessary.
Floor
Inthistypeofmachine,thedrumisattacheddirectlytotheframe.Asaresulttheoorunderthe
machinemustbestableenoughtoabsorbthedynamicforcesgeneratedduringspincycles.For
thatreason,themountingboltsmustbecastintotheoormaterialitself.
Whenxingthemachinetoanexistingcementoor,itmustbeandatleast100mmthick.Ifthe
oorislessthan100mmthick,analternativemightbetocastaplinth.
Theoormustbeabletowithstandtheloadsindicatedinthetechnicaldatatable.
Ifitisn’tpossibletocasttheboltsintotheoor,analternativemightbetouseso-calledchemical
anchors.
