8.1Electricalinstallation
Theelectricalinstallationmayonlybecarriedoutbyqualiedpersonnel.
Machineswithfrequency-controlledmotorscanbeincompatiblewithcertaintypesofearthleakagecircuit
breaker.Itisimportanttoknowthatthemachinesaredesignedtoprovideahighlevelofpersonalsafety,
whichiswhyitemsofexternalequipmentsuchasearthleakagecircuitbreakersarenotnecessary.Ifyou
stillwanttoconnectyourmachineacrossanearthleakagecircuitbreaker,pleaserememberthefollowing:
•contactaskilled,authorisedinstallationcompanytoensurethattheappropriatetypeofbreakerischosen
andthatthedimensioningiscorrect
•formaximumreliability,connectonlyonemachineperearthleakagecircuitbreaker
•itisimportantthattheearthwireisproperlyconnected.
Ininstanceswherethemachineisnotequippedwithanomni-polarswitch,onemustbeinstalled
beforehand.
Inaccordancewiththewiringrules:mountamulti-poleswitchpriortothemachinetofacilitate
installationandserviceoperations.
Theconnectingcableshouldhanginagentlecurve.
Whenconnectingtoaterminalblock,theconnectioncableshellmustbestripped10-11mm.The
cableareamustbeatleast0.5mm

andnomorethan4mm
2
(AWG12/AWG20).Theterminalblock
usedisaspringloadedcageclamp.
