ELFON OPTIMA SL255 - Lock Test; Relay Test; Communication Test

To activate the function:
§ Enter the menu Settings ( code )
§ Select Service programs (confirm with „ ”)
§ Select Handsets test (confirm with „ ”)
§ Select Wrong polarization test (confirm with „ ” )
§ Message informing about current setting appears (ENB or DIS), to change, press
„ ”
§ Message appears „SWITCH TO”, and using the arrows (up or down) select the required setting and
confirm with ”.
Generation of the signal starts after leaving from the menu settings. To interrupt the test, enter the menu
Settings using service code and deactivate the function.
Lock test
The panel activates the electric lock
Operation of the electric lock can be checked by starting a test, without codes or RFID tags.
To start the test:
§ Enter the menu Settings ( code )
§ Select Service programs (confirm with „ ”)
§ Select Lock test (confirm with „ ”)
After this operation, electric lock operates for maximum 30 s. Operation of the electric lock is always
signalled with the message <<OPEN>>. Test can be interrupted pressing „#”. After completion of the test,
the menu remains open.
Relay test
The panel activates the relay.
Operation of additional relay (NO and CON outputs), can be checked using a test, without codes. To start
the test:
§ Enter the menu Settings ( code )
§ Select Service programs (confirm with „ ”)
§ Select Relay test(confirm with „ ”)
After this operation, electric lock operates for maximum 30 s. Operation of the relay is always
signalled with the message <<ACTIVE>>. Test can be interrupted pressing „#”. After completion of
the test, the menu remains open.
Communication test
Communication test option is available when one of two multi-entry modes is activated (see 5.3.6 - multi-
entry mode). The test allows checking correctness communication between multi-entry system modules. In
the multi-entry mode Two panels this is a check of IS serial connection between first and second panel, in
the multi-entry mode Z OP-H4MS this is a check of communication correctness between the panel and
communication module OP-H4MS. To start the test:
§ Enter the menu Settings ( code )
§ Select Service programs (confirm with „ ”)
§ Select Communication test (confirm with „ ”)
If the connection operates correctly, the following message is displayed: „CHANNEL NO: X” where X stands
for: 0, 1, 2, 3 depending on the channel number of the OP-H4 communication module to which the panel is
