7. Troubleshooting
Warning!
Electric shock hazard!
• Do not carry out any maintenance or repair work without first switching
off the high voltage and disconnecting the supply voltage.
• The machine which has the charging bars fitted must not be in opera-
tion.
• Any work involving the units must be carried out by qualified electri-
cians.
Error messages

• Defective fuse.

Replace fuse, (see name plate).
Connect or activate supply voltage.
Error text:
01 limiter
Limiter set for <switch off>,
selected value is exceeded.
• Investigate cause why limit value was
exceeded!
• If necessary, increase limit value.
Error text:
02 spark counter 1
5 high-power discharges
within <5 seconds.
• Reduce output voltage.
• Clean bars
(see Maintenance).
Error text:
03 spark counter 2
Processor measuring range
was exceeded.
• Reduce output voltage.
• Clean bars
(see Maintenance).
• Check high voltage cables.
Error text:
04 short-circuit
Short-circuit detected
(with a current of >5 mA and
a voltage of <150 V).
Disconnect connected consumers one
after the other and localize the short-
circuit.
Error text:
05 no voltage
Error in high voltage
generation.
Acknowledge error, if it recurs, send unit
for repairs.
Error text:
11 calibration
Defective or no calibration
data in EEPROM.
Memory problem, send unit for repairs.
Error text:
12 EEPROM error
Error in EEPROM. Switch appliance off and back on. If error
recurs, a memory problem exists, send
unit for repairs.
Error text:
13 +13 V missing
Acknowledge error, if it recurs, send unit
for repairs.
Error text:
14 –12 V missing
Acknowledge error, if it recurs, send unit
for repairs.
