Clinical settings
Cartridge
The dose range depends on the type of cartridge selected containing a specified concentration of
Saizen
®
[somatropin (rDNA origin) for injection]. The following click.easy
®
cartridge concentrations
are available:
• Cartridge type A (concentration of 8 mg/mL):
range can vary between 0.5 mg to 6.4 mg in increments of 0.01 mg.
• Cartridge type B (concentration of 5.83 mg/mL):
range can vary between 0.15 mg to 4.66 mg in increments of 0.01 mg.
• Cartridge type C (concentration of 1.5 mg/mL):
range can vary between 0.15 mg to 1.2 mg in increments of 0.01 mg.
IMPORTANT: The cartridge type should be selected according to your prescription.
To change the Cartridge setting:
1. Open the “Clinical settings” menu and
enter the PIN code (see page 14) (21a).
2. Use the “” key to highlight “Injection
settings”.
3. Select “Change” to open the “Injection
settings” menu. “Cartridge” will
be highlighted.
4. Select “Change” and the “Cartridge”
menu will open (21b).
5. Use the “” key to highlight Cartridge “A”, “B”, or “C” (21c).
6. Select “OK”.
