b) Restart application at System Settings → Gateway →
Backup and Restore → Restart Apps.

Resetting applications will temporarily disable communications with
field devices.
3. Disconnect the power and Ethernet cable from the gateway.

Changing username and passwords
Procedure
1. Navigate to System Settings → Users → User Accounts to change
passwords and add users with the following steps.
a) For DeltaV Ready Gateways, access gateway web interface
from DeltaV Explorer
2. Change admin, operator, maintenance, and executive passwords to a
secure password that adheres to user’s password requirements.
