CAUTION!
8.5.5 Calibration
Enter the calibration parameters or start the automatic calibration. A wizard guides you
through the calibration process. The calibration dialog depends on the selected calibration
method.
Note
The sensor data is sent to the EZ 1000 at the beginning of the calibration methods Automatic calibration
or Multipoint calibration. Before starting the calibration process, ensure that the dialogs Input and
Measurement have been completed in accordance to the requirements of the measurement and the
used sensor.
Connections to external devices may be interrupted when sending configurations.
The output voltage of the EZ 1000 is set to > -1.5 V during this process.

Guided
process
The calibration method used before is displayed here.
1. Click Start wizard to start the guided calibration process.
The dialog for selecting the calibration method opens.
Note
The guided process requires an online connection to the EZ 1000
converter (see
Section 8.1.2
).
2. Select the calibration method.
Manual calibration
Use this method if the calibration data is known. Sensor types
EZ 105x and EZ 108x have this data attached to the sensor
cable. The extension cables are labeled with cable calibration
data.
Automatic calibration
Use this method for sensor types EZ 105x and EZ 108x.
Multipoint calibration
